The Great Cane Toad Bust
The Great Cane Toad Bust was held the last week of January 2023. This year Pacific Harbour Golf and Country Club Community collected the most toads and came first place.

To the dedicated team of toad busters at the Pacific Harbour Golf Estate,
Watergum would like to congratulate you and your team for catching the most toads during the Great Cane Toad Bust week!
We have seen the amazing work put in by everyone, but your team stood out and we are amazed to see you all catch more than 2,700 cane toads.
As a little thank you we would like to send your team a small prize, which you will be able to use for your future toad busts.
If you could please provide us with an address and we will ship them out to you next week.
This year we received a total of 342 entries totalling 19,665 cane toads removed from the environment in one week!
When we put this into perspective, this has prevented between 52,440,000 – 229,425,000 future can toads from coming into existence.
